Lecturer in Law
Gayle Hyman is an attorney with extensive experience advising clients on corporate, securities, governance and international business matters. Most recently, she was the senior vice president, corporate affairs at Las Vegas Sands Corp., where she has served in several other senior legal positions, including as its general counsel.
Previously, Hyman was the deputy general counsel, finance and securities, at Allegheny Energy, Inc. Prior to that, she was a corporate attorney at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York and Hong Kong and at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York. In addition, she has taught U.S. Business Law at law schools in Debrecen, Hungary and Moscow.
Hyman received her BA with distinction from Stanford University, her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and her JD magna cum laude from New York Law School. She is a member of the board of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Nevada Chapter.
