Preston Hopson: LAW 749
Preston Hopson attended college and law school at Yale University. He then moved west to complete a clerkship with the Hon. Raymond C. Fisher on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Following the clerkship, Preston joined the Transactions Department at O’Melveny & Myers in LA where he focused on securities law, with an emphasis on advising companies on IPOs, and corporate governance. After a number of years at O’Melveny, he joined the Legal Department at AECOM Technology Corporation. AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets, including transportation, facilities, environmental, energy, water and government. With approximately 45,000 employees around the world, AECOM is a Fortune 500 company that serves clients in more than 150 countries and had revenue of $8.1 billion during 2013. At AECOM, Preston focuses on securities law issues (including all SEC filings, New York Stock Exchange rules and investor relations), corporate governance and board of director items, merger and acquisition transactions, real estate matters, finance transactions and general corporate issues.
